Located on the northern outskirts of Berlin and away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. Rest and relaxation close to nature, make the location the perfect starting point for sporting activities. Running around the Lehnitzsee with a distance of approx. 7 km is a good start to warm up. Water sports enthusiasts and cyclists get their money's worth, because the area has a lot to offer. The cycle paths are very well developed and you can cycle north along the Havel very nicely. Small towns like Liebenwalde or Zehdenick are typical of the Brandenburg region. Discovering old barns, farms, meadows, forests and small lakes along the Havel is great fun.
We offer you the possibility of using our pontoon boat comfortable seating furniture and loungers for hire. You have a terrace right on the water and you can relax and swim all day long. You can also rent a sup board from us.
Water sports enthusiasts can rent a board in the marina in the Oranienburg water sports center (if ours are already fully booked) and paddle stand up on the Lehnitzsee. Anyone who has never tried it should definitely do so. It's a lot of fun and you might just fall into the water. On the other hand, if you are more into horsepower, you can also rent small motor boats in the marina, also without a license. Give it your all and go.
The town of Oranienburg has a beautiful castle where the mayor lives, or rather works, today. The office is there today. The castle park is beautifully laid out and a few years ago the State Garden Show took place there. So it's worth making a detour. Adjacent is also the castle harbor with boat moorings.
There are restaurants like Italians, for example at Donna Rosa with chef "Rosario and his Ragazzis", Asian/Thai, German cuisine at the castle and a few more. Cafes and bakeries can also be found nearby.
In Germendorf, a district of Oranienburg about 7 km away, is the animal - leisure - and dinosaur park. About 650 animals from Alpaca to Zebu live there. 86 primeval models can be admired in the dinosaur park. The park has a total area of 69 hectares and hiking trails of over 6 kilometers in length. From playgrounds to the dog bathing beach, picnic huts / barbecue areas and bathing areas, children and parents get their money's worth together!!!
In Oranienburg in the tower, the adventure city, there is a sports and adventure pool with sauna area. A rock climbing wall, bowling/skittles, fitness center and dining options are available. A visit is recommended.
